"- Hello and welcome to the Bangtan Café. ”

Eyes resting on the paper in front of you, your pen scrapes on the sheet while you tell the new customer to wait a few moments. Arrived in Korea just a few months ago, you had found a job as a waitress in an ephemeral shop. The youngest of all, so you had to wear the flashy pink outfit without complaining. You were the perfect human representation of Cooky, and even if pink was not your favorite color, at least you could pay for your apartment and something to live. The pen of the same color as your outfit is closed before you slip it into your apron, straightening your gaze from your notepad. A slight smile passing your lips when you cross the lost gaze of the man on the different pastries.

"- Have you made your choice? May you need help?

- My girlfriend really likes sweet things. Do you have something that would match?

- We have very French pastries, such as the Mille feuille de Noël or our logs frozen or not.

- Which one is your favorite?

- The Mille feuille. Christmas ones are filled with red praline cream. It's a lot of sugar, but it's incredible.

- I'll get one of it and a reindeer muffin.

- Perfect. ”

The cake box in the color of the event of the year, a pretty box that looks like a Christmas gift, put it on the counter, you fill it with the Mille feuille part, as well as two Muffins, a Christmas reindeer and a snowman, explaining that it was the promotion of the day. Once the money is cashed, he thanks you before reaching the exit, finding the snowy street and the pollution of the city. This year the winter in South Korea was particularly cold according to the information and you are forced to wrap yourself in big warm coats, to be sure not to die of cold. You lived fifteen minutes walk from the establishment, save yourself transport costs. Hands push into your pockets, nose into your scarf. Hi Chimmy is coming to take your place. It was a specific café, open from six hours to midnight all the time, so that everyone could enjoy their favorite character. The heat of your apartment makes you blow as you reach the aquarium of your only goldfish, turning inside waiting for his daily meal. Fish offered by a friend. Who received it on a birthday a few years ago. Clearly, you had a fairly empty life, work, then your house, once a week you went to the small grocery store, a little further on the street. And that's it. The only thing that made your life vibrate was the neighbor opposite. You had never seen him, but you had already heard the person sharing his life. A pretty bimbo, not very faithful who made scenes all the time. And every night, while you were on your couch, the evening meal between your fingers, you had the right to their daily argument. Always stronger, more violent.

"If it doesn't suit you, you need to see the neighbor!

- Maybe this is what I'm going to do! ”

The door slams, and you watch your poor light light move, making you frown. It was the first time he was the first to leave. Slam the door, and you don't know why, but it makes you a little sad. After all, he looked like a good person. Hearing him cry every night in the living room, you had a kind of attachment to him. And a slight breath passes through your lips. You hoped that everything would be fine as usual.

"Hello and welcome to the Bangtan café. ”

Your sparkling smile as you straighten your whole body to welcome the second customer of the day, you feel a little caught in the throat when you see his eyes are low and his eyes reddened by tears. He seems lost in his own thoughts, looking at each of the pastries as one of them was going to start talking to him, gave hope for a better day. And even if your life was a little flat, you had your heart on your hand. A slight smile stretches your lips as you point to a pastry, something you eat when you felt that your life was never going to be good. It was a chocolate cake, half fondant, half brownie that at this time of year looked like Christmas decorations. He looks at your hand, following it and scrapes his throat.

"- Chocolate?

- There is nothing better when you have the morale at the lowest. A ball of ice cream and hot cocoa, in front of a Christmas movie and you will see, you will feel that problems are not really problems.

- Do you make hot cocoa?

- Of course, with or without sugar? Hazelnut cream?

- Surprise me? ”

Your smile stretches as you order it, adding an extra hazelnut cream without even charging him. A small smile passes his lips and he thanks you timidly, as you give him his order, taking the money he hands you before, putting it in the box.

"- Will you tell me some news?

- Of course. ”

His look seems less sad and it makes you feel a little better.

Once again, you leave the shop next time, put your hands in your pockets, before reaching your apartment. The heat envelops you like all the time and you put the cup on your worktop. Your goldfish turns while waiting for you to feed it and you realize after doing it that something is wrong. The upper apartment is silent for once, no arguments, no screams. Just the silence. And it was almost stressful.

"- Be careful to cover yourself well. It's cold outside. ”

The slight startle that takes you almost get your coffee spilled on you. Your eyes turn to man. The one who came to get the pastries in the shop. He seemed a little better, but it wasn't joy either. With a shy smile, you thank him as he opens his mailbox. Grab his pack of envelope before turning your back, to reach the stairs and disappear. Outside it was really cold, the wind was blowing hard and the snow was falling into big snowflakes, forcing you to sink a little more into your coat. You are looking for the usual customer, almost bothered not to see him. But you don't really blame him, outside the snow falls into a storm, and even you didn't really want to go out. But ten minutes before the end of your service, the man walks through the door, tapping his shoes full of snow on the doormat, before reaching the shelves.

"- Need something special today?

- I would like something, not too romantic, but... I want to invite someone.

- An idea of what this person can appreciate?

- She said she liked chocolate cakes. And ice cream. But I don't know what else she can appreciate.

- From what I see, I would say that she has flat tastes.

- I think so too. But I wonder if she doesn't hide anything else.

- Hum.. If I were you, I would try something much more exotic. Like.. Why not a mango opera?

- With one of your chocolate cakes and two hot chocolates. For.. In five minutes. Is it possible?

- Of course.. But can I at least know your name? So that your next date knows... You know...

- Kim Seokjin. I am the neighbor from above. I admit that I thought she already knew it.

- Well, now she knows it. ”

A Jikook Guide to RunBTS: 30-39

One general trend to point out that’s true pretty much all series long, but was particularly noticeable to me starting around these episodes - JK and JM end up next to each other an unusually high percentage of the time when the guys choose where they're standing / sitting. Like, I initially thought I was only noticing it because I was primed to notice KM stuff, so I started tracking some other random pairs for comparison, and there’s no contest. 

Also, this is when the show started really hitting its groove. I’d seen nearly all the Run episodes before going back and rewatching for this guide. There were some I rewatched at 1.5x speed and others I happily rewatched normally. There are many more of the later starting around here.

1:59 - Jimin laughs a little when he sees that he's chosen JK as his Manito 3:56 - Jimin asks "Jungkook, why are you so cute?" and for some reason the on-screen text emphasizes this by popping up under Jimin's face saying "Jimin finding Jungkook very cute" 10:01 - Jimin comments on how high JK jumped and the on-screen text continues to call him out by tagging him as "amazed by Jungkook's jumping skills" 11:06 - Jimin singles out JK for praise for another good photo (on-screen text: "so hilarious") 12:00 - Jimin tells JK that he wants to give him a point for his acting, but his shoulders didn't make it into the shot 14:10 - Jimin AGAIN compliments JK (maybe he felt bad because he judged him as not properly in the picture the prev round) and the on-screen text wants to make sure we know Jimin is "amazed" I really can't tell if whoever writes this stuff is onto Jimin or is just also in love with JK, but I find the constant commentary hilarious either way 16:06 - Jimin gets JK to try to coordinate photo-bombing RM's pic BEHIND 5:05 - When JK is taking pictures of the posed photos he finds funny, takes two of Jimin (and you can see he's zoomed in on Jimin's face in both) while laughing adorably

Ep 34 "BTS and Manito Part 2" (Ep: 5, KM: 3)

8:46 - JM & JK decide to work together as a team to solve the puzzle

11:54 and 14:46 - JK and JM playfully grab and shove each other a bit to get to the mic first

15:41 - After Jimin and JK get bingo at the same time, they high five and Jimin comments "there's something about us"

15:55 - Jimin has moved his chair so he's sitting super close to JK and has seems to have his hand on his back for an extended period of time

23:27 - When they say Jimin failed his manito mission to make finger hearts with JK, they do it together and pose cutely here. Then, JK reminds JM that he actually did it successfully when the main cameras weren't on them by talking with JK about how different people make finger hearts. Jimin shakes JK's hand in thanks for the validation. 

24:17 - It's quick, but you can see Jimin tapping JK to make a comment to him while the focus is on Jin.

25:53 - Jimin makes a comment about being a calico cat after JK has opened Jimin's manito gift and seen that it's a cat lamp. I mention it because I've seen some people connect that to "Serendipity" being a jikook thing, which I buy generally but, in this particular instance, Jimin had no way of knowing which member his present would end up going to.  BEHIND 2:38 - JK does a joking imitation of acting out a food and Jimin playfully slaps him on the arm 3:41 - The same thing happens again when JK makes another funny face

Ep 35 "Kimchi Battle" (Ep: 3, KM: 3)

The one where, as you’d expect from the title, BTS makes kimchi

1:12 - JK taps Jimin on the chest when they say he can call his mom for help 1:23 - JM has his arm around JK's shoulders for a while and then moves his hand down to his lower back at 1:38 11:24 - JM has JK smell something gross and is impressed when JK has no reaction 16:38 - JK goes over to taste and compliment JM's kimchi and gets scolded by Suga for having his back to the camera 18:03 - JM watches closely as JK mixes the kimchi and the others compliment his arms 18:21 - Jimin continues staring at said arms 19:21 - Still staring 20:19 - More staring as the others all compliment JK's arms again 21:16 - Guess who's still watching JK? This time JM looks particularly impressed when JK lifts a heavy container 21:38 - Even the on-screen text has noticed the staring at this point and captions this "looking sweetly at Jungkook" 23:23 - Jimin tells JK the kimchi won't taste good yet because it's too fresh and looks at him affectionately, then compliments how good it looks.  24:38 - JM compliment's JK's kimchi again. He really seems much more invested in JK's work than his own this ep BEHIND 0:44 - JK claps for the slate and JM hits himself over his heart right after, making JK (and no one else) laugh 5:52 - Jimin wipes the sweat off JK's neck as he works on mixing the kimchi. When Jin does the same for JK's forehead right after, Jimin says that they look like two brothers and it looks like Jin's hating what he's doing.

Ep 36 "Kimchi Wars" (Ep: 3, KM: 1)

The one where the above kimchi is used in a cooking competition 

None. JM and JK cooking together on the same team is cute, but everyone is cooking together, so there’s nothing uniquely jikook in the episode itself. BEHIND 5:10 - JK starts clapping a beat and JM joins in with his tongs and dances 6:35 - As JK films some of the food, someone (not quite sure who) comments that they've never seen any of JK's work except for when he went on vacation with Jimin

Ep 37 "BTS Marble Returns" (Ep: 1?, KM: 1)

The one in this set that I have absolutely no memory of 

5:41 - When JK loses and rolls around in annoyance, Jimin comments twice how cute he is

BTS Imagine #14: Quarantine (Part 1)

Description: The COVID-19 quarantine has been affecting everyone across the globe, but in South Korea, being quarantined with the global stars known as BTS is an entirely different experience, in many unexpected ways.

"Coffee," Yoongi murmured sleepily. "Need coffee."

I slid his usual black ceramic mug across the table towards him, the delicate tendrils of steam floating upwards. He inhaled slightly, taking in a whiff of the freshly brewed drink before sipping tentatively.

"Mmm, thank you," he said softly, already lifting the mug back up to his lips.

I smiled at him. He was always so cute in the mornings.

Quarantine... was not ideal, to say the least. Even though we were past what was considered the worst of it, I hadn't been able to go back to my apartment for weeks. I had been advised to avoid contact with my house mates, so I'd been staying at the dorms, which was a little much sometimes. Living with seven boys part-time pre COVID-19 had been one thing; living with them full-time was another thing entirely.

Of course, I could never be upset about being able to share small, quiet moments like this with Yoongi.

I sat down at the table across from him, my own cup of coffee in hand. His eyes were still blurry with sleep, his nose scrunched cutely as he continued to sip at his coffee. He extended his hand wordlessly and I accepted it. Our hands were almost exactly the same size, which meant that our fingers laced together effortlessly.

"Tsk tsk, Youkyung," Seokjin reprimanded teasingly as he walked into the kitchen. "Big Hit doesn't pay you to hold Yoongi's hand."

"I thought that's exactly what I get paid to do?" I said, feigning confusion.

Yoongi smiled shyly, his cheeks turning pink over the brim of his mug.

"Are we going to get started on breakfast?" Jin asked, changing the subject with an expression of mock disgust on his face.

"More coffee," Yoongi mumbled, holding out his now empty cup.

"Do I look like a maid to you?" Jin demanded.

I got up from the table, patting Jin's shoulder as I passed him on the way to the coffee pot.

"Noona, you baby him too much," Jimin commented, wandering in still wearing his soft Chimmy pajamas. "Baby me instead."

"Like she doesn't always baby you, you brat," Taehyung teased, he and Jungkook following behind him in their own Tata and Cooky pajamas.

"Does everyone have BT21 pajamas but me?" I complained, envious.

"We can get you some!" Jimin promised immediately. "And then when we all have our pajamas, we can have a giant sleepover in the living room!"

"But whose pajamas would you get?" Hoseok wondered out loud, strolling into the room and the conversation casually. He was not wearing his Mang pajamas but I bet he had them in his room somewhere.

"Maybe Van?" I suggested. "Since Van doesn't really belong to any one member."

Namjoon sat down at the table, his hair still messy and his loose T-shirt wrinkled. He leaned forward on one elbow, hand cupping his cheek adorably and brow furrowed slightly.

"Who is your favorite BT21 character, noona?" he asked.

I froze.

None of the members had ever been inside of my room at my apartment, but if they had, they would have seen shelves lined with RJ products, as well as the RJ standing doll that I kept on my bed for cuddling purposes.

I wasn’t about to admit all of that.

The boys were all staring at me, Namjoon in particular completely oblivious to the chaos he had unknowingly caused inside of my head, so I tried to keep my expression neutral.

"Noona really likes pink so maybe Cooky?" Jungkook guessed, although his expression looked a little smug.

Truthfully speaking, I had at least one thing of every BT21 character, but all of my RJ possessions far outnumbered the rest. The only other character that came close was Shooky, out of loyalty to Yoongi.

"I think to be fair, I should just get Van pajamas," I said evasively.

"I think you're hiding something," Jin said shrewdly, raising an eyebrow at me.

"I think you should get started on breakfast, Kim Seokjin," I told him flatly.

"What am I--"

"'A maid?'" I finished his question. "Yes, absolutely. Would you like me to tie your apron for you?"

I took his apron that was hanging on one of the cabinet knobs and stood on tiptoe to pull it over his head. It was pink and had the words “Please do nothing to the cook” stitched on the front.

"Make omelets, everyone likes those," I said softly as I tied a pretty bow in the back.

Jin’s face was bright red, all the way to the tips of his ears. I squeezed his arm and then walked back to the kitchen table where Yoongi was staring at me strangely. I made a face at him and he made the face back.

"Oh no, the twins are at it again with their silent communication," Hoseok said jokingly.

Yoongi and I both turned to look at him with our mouths stretched into a line, making identical expressions just to fluster him.

"What's on our schedule for today?" Namjoon wondered.

"Studio," I answered. "For the Japanese album."

BTS didn't stop during quarantine. They'd had to cancel their tour but they had decided to make use of the time they now had to work on new music. I'd already spent a good amount of time in Genius Lab with Yoongi while he worked on lyrics. It was one of the places we could go for the time being, but as the weeks dragged on, it was already becoming as confining to me as the dorms.

"You can all take your lessons during your breaks from recording," I continued. "I finished the lesson plan last night."

Namjoon nodded in affirmation and Hoseok chirped out an “Okay!” Yoongi and Jin both hummed to indicate that they understood; and Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook all shot me a thumbs up in unison.

Trying to squeeze English lessons into their hectic schedules was a bit easier now, but they still had to be done in small increments. Jungkook always tried to drag them out, eager to join Namjoon during interviews, but I had been specifically instructed not to make their lessons too lengthy. They had to be designed to fit into whatever free time they had, so their progress was not as fast as any of them would have liked.

While Jin got started on the omelets the maknae line went to go get changed; and Hoseok and Namjoon relocated to the living room to talk about lyrics for the new Japanese album. Yoongi and I remained at the kitchen table, drinking our coffee and whisking waffle batter.

“So are you going to tell me why you were flirting with Jin earlier?” Yoongi asked me nonchalantly as he plugged the waffle maker into the outlet on the wall closest to the table.

“I wasn’t flirting with him,” I disagreed. “I was teasing him. He should know what it feels like from time to time, since he does it to everyone else.”

“It looked like flirting.”

“Well, it wasn’t.”

Yoongi shrugged, pouring batter into the waffle maker as if it didn’t really matter to him either way. I huffed audibly and he smiled, even though his attention was on making sure the batter spread evenly.

Life during quarantine had become pretty stagnant. I didn’t want to say that I was bored, because being the English tutor for the biggest group in the world could never be boring. I also didn’t want to say that I was fed up because there were certainly worse people to be stuck at home with. It was just difficult not having space to breathe sometimes. Everywhere I went, one of the boys was there. I missed my apartment, my room, my things--everything that made it my space.

As I watched Yoongi manning the waffle maker diligently, I felt a little guilty for wanting separation. He was my favorite person in the world and I had so much of his attention. I tried to push the intrusive thoughts out of my mind, taking a sip of my coffee to ground myself again.

Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook came back, dressed in casual attire yet looking so effortlessly beautiful, it was unfair.

“What do you kids want on your waffles?” I asked them.

The room was immediately filled with the sounds of five different voices shouting their favorite toppings. I rolled my eyes. They really were like children sometimes, children I attempted to raise even though we were close in age. I left Yoongi at the table to mind the waffles, grabbing a clean cutting board and knife so that I could start chopping up fruit.

“Smells good, Jinnie,” I complimented, inhaling the delicious aroma of garlic, butter, and cheese.

“Of course it does,” he huffed. “I am an amazing chef, after all.”

I shook my head fondly, concentrating on the fruit I was cutting up. On anyone else, I would think that Jin’s behavior was insufferable, but he always got away with it. It was just the way things were.

Without tour dates and flights to factor in, my daily life had changed a little bit more than the boys’ had during this quarantine. I powered through entire books like it was nothing, something that I hadn’t done since I had been in university. I played Just Dance Now pretty religiously, my choice of fitness activity since I hated working out. I took on kitchen duty much more often just to have something to do, although I didn’t mind since I loved cooking; and cooking with Yoongi and Jin was always an enjoyable experience. I started writing again, fictions that sprung from the depths of my imagination and formed brilliant universes of their own. I worked on getting better at photography. I focused on taking care of myself.

All those things were good, healthy, productive... but I went from the dorms to the Big Hit building to Genius Lab and back to the dorms again, day in and day out. It wasn’t bad, but it was... something.

I sighed.

Jin heard me, looking over at me questioningly. I shrugged it off, sliding the neatly cut fruit off the cutting board into a glass bowl with my knife. I placed the cutting board and knife into the sink to wash later and took the bowl of fruit to the table.

The stack of waffles in front of Yoongi had grown. I ruffled his hair affectionately with my free hand and he leaned into my touch.

A few more flips of the waffle maker later and breakfast was ready. I helped Jin plate all the omelets, which were filled with gooey melted cheese, fresh spinach, truffles, and grape tomatoes cut in halves.

“Yay! Thank you for making breakfast, hyungs and noona!” Jimin cheered, clapping his adorably tiny hands happily.

A chorus of “thank you”s floated around the table.

“You kids better be grateful,” Jin said, no real firmness in his tone.

As the eight of us sat around the kitchen table--an extra large dining set that the company had purchased just to accommodate all of us--I felt the familiar warmth in my chest that I usually felt whenever I looked at my little family. I soaked up the feeling, reveling in the fondness and love I had for each of them. I couldn’t keep being selfish, wanting space from them when there were no better people to be quarantined with.

Yoongi, sensing my emotional state, reached for my hand under the table, squeezing gently. I squeezed back, smiling at him. I slung an arm around Jungkook, who was sitting on my other side. I looked around the table.

“I love you guys,” I told them.

Immediately, a round of “aw”s met my ears and before I knew it, I was crushed beneath the weight of seven boys who had latched onto me in a giant group hug.

“We purple you, noona,” Taehyung said earnestly.

I felt tears well up in the corner of my eyes. I knew how much the phrase meant to him and how much it meant coming from him.

My family. My perfect little family.

Pokemon Gen 8

I wonder what the bird will be, Blackbird? Unique gender differences again.

Pigeon? (Not like Pidove. One of those really tubby looking ones or streamlined colourful necked ones that look metallic and their individual names which I know escape me xD)

Bluetit as a Flying Grass type? Beautiful little birds. ^-^

Also being both English *and* Scottish I’d love to see a highland coo pokemon! I’ve tried to design one myself months ago and I need to get back to that. And yes, the correct pronunciation is indeed ‘coo’, if it’s Scottish it’s a coo! xD

I think I’m going to draw up a fish and chip pokemon in a newspaper shell xD

And a bagpipe creature… somehow but I have ideas. xD

I know Alola’s gimic was alolan forms which were really cool but if they did a couple new Galar forms I ’d love to see  an Ice/something else Luxray as Lynx’s used to live in Scotland and there is talk of reintroducing them. 

(Ok now I am looking up animals that are indigenous to England and Scotland as I know lots of little birds migrate and live in lots of other countries.)

But Puffins!!! Puffins are so cute! I’ve heard before some would love a puffin pokemon. Water/Flying, Flying/Ice or Water/Ice. (Ice because it is cold here most of the time. xD)

The normal early route poke could be a little badger perhaps?

*GASP* Fire/Normal Red Squirrel!!! (it seems I’m coming up with more ideas for my own creatures to draw than the new region. xD)

I know we have only one mildly venomous snake, the adder but looking it up three other snakes live in the uk too. Poison/Normal type? I’ve seen a wild adder in the lake district before it slithered away into the tall grass. (I just realised what I said and makes that encounter even better. XD) They seem to have amazing piercing red eyes too. :D

A Flying/Fighting bird of prey perhaps. :o I know we had Talonflame which is very peregrine like but other birds are available. :D

Of course a Water/Dragon Nessie type poke would be pawsome!

As for fossils I know that Iguanadons used to live here so that’s cool :D Grass/Rock if we’re sticking with the always part rock type thing. And Stegosaurus’ I think :D They are my favourite.

And I’m on board with a dragon eeveelution. Dragons are heavily linked with medevial Britain. Maybe a Steel/Dragon? Ooo! Or two counterpart pokemon a  Dragon/Poison dragon and a knight that’s maybe Steel/Fairy? *looks up fairy/poison typing weakness..* ah… Dragon/Poison dragon and a Fairy (but armoured looking) knight.

 I don't know how much to the 'armoured'  pokemon rumour there is but I immediately thought of Infernape, maybe it's because people keep barking on about Sinnoh remakes, but I keep thinking of my little Chimmi Chimchar when looking at Grookey. Armoured Infernape, Torterra and Empoleon would look pretty cool I think.

Wasn't there a fan game that had armour for pokemon? :D

I thought either yesterday or the day before I wonder if there will ever be a 'scared' status condition from ghost or dark types. Not sure if it would add anything. Maybe the heal thing for that could be a soft blanket? ^-^ Like heals for burns or awakenings for sleep.

Actually, new idea! :D Maybe scared pokemon could also still be put asleep, the only status condition that allows two at the same time. Which would be sleep. The two would work together in the that pokemon would then have nightmares that cause them to lash out doing damage to either themselves or possibly opponents?

Cutie Reviews: NMNL Nov 19

Sorry to anyone waiting for the next review, right after I took the pictures, it sorta took a backseat to everything else going on. Besides still playing Animal Crossing, my mom came home from the hospital so I’ve been taking care of her, I got back into a manga series that I had took a break from, wiki editing, etc...

Anyway, I’m back again! I’m going to try to get things back on track so hopefully my next review will be done within the next few days.

In going with the theme, this months mini-contest involves a bunch of Cardcapture Sakura items; like a really cute heart-shaped lip cream. The grand prize winner will receive a pack of multi-functional creams, 1 day tattoo eyeliner, and a makeup pouch.

Glam Gift and Horoscope

Meanwhile, this months Glam Gift features no characters, but some cutesy looking wine-flavored products from the brand Labiotte, and some egg-based (but they don’t smell like them thankfully) Too Cool for School products.

I can’t say I’m a wine girl, but I think 3, 5, and 6 look adorable~ I’m a sucker for makeup products shaped like other things.

Kirby Lip Cream

Our Kirby trendy continues with this adorable limited edition lip cream, but what also makes this one special is that it comes in 10 different styles! Each one has the same Peach scent, but the designs are based on famous locations in Japan: Mt. Fuji, Hokkaido, Yokohama, Tokyo, Okinawa, Kyoto, Kochi, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya.

I got Hokkaido ♥ which is one of my favorites, so I was pretty excited. I’d love to get the whole collection if they have it on the Japan Haul website though~

This lip cream feels wonderful on the lips. It’s very smooth and soft, and you can feel it on the lips because it’s a tiny bit greasy, but you only taste it for a moment or so after applying it- which can be a good or bad thing depending on preference. The peach smell is lovely too.

Sho-Bi Lollipop Lipgloss or Lip & Cheek Cream

This one was included because it reminded the makers of the box of the invincible candies in Kirby :3 It came in 4 variants, two lip & cheek and two lipgloss. It has a strawberry scent, and a light pink shade. It contains moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and hyaluronic acid.

It smells really good and it doesn’t feel bad on the lips. The only problem is, it’s patchy and very light and it doesn’t go with my skin tone at all. But it looks really nice on my cheeks as a blush, it actually matches the blush I normally use and blends in very smoothly (I didn’t blend it into my hand skin, it’s much more natural looking when it is), so this would be a nice alternative to applying powder if I’m in a hurry.

If you recall one of my summer NMNL boxes, you might recall the similar looking popsicle we got. It’s so cute, so I’m glad to add this to my collection~

Anime Girl Bath Bomb/KiraKira Ring Bath Bomb

I was really excited when I saw this next item, because I’ve seen them before on a couple Youtube channels I watch and I’ve always wanted one. I love the packaging because it gives me heavy Pretty Cure vibes, this girl is so cute ♥ 

This is a typical spherical bath bomb with an orange scent, and it features a prize; 6 rings in the shape of a glittery, clear heart or star, coming in pink, blue, or yellow.

A+ for the bath balls fizz and scent. The ring is also very cute, I got a pink star (I love pink but I really wish I got the ♥ so close~), but I used this to soak my feet and they felt really dry after a while when I finished. I’m not sure if it was the bath bombs doing, or if it was because they were already dried prior to soaking them.

Fate Grand Order x Sanrio Nail Stamping Plate

This item is a partner to the one we got last month, as part of the collaboration between Sanrio and the FGO series. As I said last month I’m not a fan of this series or know of it very well, but I think it’s pretty popular, I see it pop up a lot. I love Sanrio collab items though, they’re always so cute.

The one I got is Gilgamesh, who I can’t say would have been my first choice... unless I got his makeup palette in last months box, so they could match. But anyway, this kit includes the shape plate, a scraper, and a stamper. The back also includes an image of nail polish colors matching the character, and the inside includes some example designs.

As cute as it is, as I said, I’m not really into this specific set. I was willing to try it, but the problem is that I really couldn’t figure out how to. The directions seem clear enough, you just wet the specific stamp/area with polish, then use the stamper to pick it up and transfer it onto the nail. But for some reason I couldn’t get it to work.

I could get the nail polish to apply and the scraper to work- but the stamper wasn’t picking it up. I was fiddling with this for probably a half hour before I gave up. The booklet suggests using “nail stamp polish“ for best results, which could in theory explain why I couldn’t get it to work? I might see if I can find one to see if it makes a difference.

Kawaii Character Makeup Pouch

This item features everyone’s favorite Sanrio and San-X characters, in the form of a cute little cubical pouch. I’m not sure what its made out of but it feels very smooth on both the inside and out. PomPomPurin isn’t my first choice, but it’s very cute.

It’s very nicely crafted, and it feels really nice to hold. It can fit smaller items (such as the two lip products, ring, and hand cream from the box) and it’s actually pretty spacious. But it could also work just to carry some necessities, like keys, change or money, cards, coupons, etc.

Nam Chi Ni Message Sheet Mask & Mediheal BTS BT21 Face Point Mask Set

These items are 2 of the 3 Korean products in this months box, and both of them are facial masks. Our first one features the popular mascot characters designed by the members of Korean boy pop group BT21- and to be honest, I’ve never actually listened to them before. I feel like I’m one of the only people who never has.

Not because I don’t like their type of music or anything, I just never felt the need to.

What makes these mask fun is that rather than being one single sheet, they come in the form of 6 mini-sticker like pieces you stick on the various skin points in need of some quick 5-10 minute relief. Each of the 7 characters has a focus in this set, such as: 

Cooky - radiance and skin barrier protection

Koya - moisture and glow

Mang - soothing and vitality

RJ - soothing and calming

Shooky - skin enhancement

Chimmy - evening skin tone & nourishment

Tata - skin energy & vitality

Out of these, Koya is definitely who I would have wanted ♥ so I’m glad I got him. But Cooky and RJ look really cute too. It has a strong sort of lotion scent.

As cute as this was... I think this product needs some fine-tuning. It’s very moist (in fact I didn’t nee to use these all at once, they remained wet for over a week so I could just use them when I felt like it) and they adhere to the skin great. But they do begin to lose moisture quickly after application, so the 5-10 minute thing is accurate, but I don’t think its long enough to really help much. The skin where I used these didn’t feel any different, other than a little sticky. But I will say that the skin does look a little more vibrant than it did prior to using.

It’s a bit silly, but I can’t bring myself to throw away the cute little patches. They dried very quickly after use and smoothly, so I plan to hang onto them. I might turn them into stickers, or put in a scrap book.

Our other face mask features a unique concept of a handsome guy in 4 difference outfits, with the mask featuring a quote and detail taken from the guy. For example, mine is the prince-looking one, and besides a message the mask has blue sparkles near the eyes and a crown.

Each mask also has a “focal point“ like the above set did, with mine focusing on moisturizing. The scent has a strong... sort of flowery-perfume scent? I never know what it is and I’ve gotten it a few times, but I really really like this scent.

Besides its great scent, I feel like this mask did a lot better then the above. It’s not nearly as cute and it’s kinda silly looking- but I did like how cool and refreshed my face felt after using it.

Korean Manga Hand Cream

Our last item is a hand cream based on Korean manga, with a peach scent. On the back, this seems to be from a series called Tale of Felluah.

The art on this is very pretty, and the peach scent is surprisingly different than the Kirby lip cream. This one reminds me more of a realistic and refreshing peach, rather than a creamy candy peach. The cream is very smooth and it soaks into the hands quickly. I really like it. Besides the Kirby lip cream, I’ve also decided to put this in the stand near my bed for quick access.

Content - 3.5 out of 5. I like everything and we got a decent variety of items! However, I feel like a couple of the could have been better...

Theme: 5 out of 5. I’ve been waiting for themes like this, because I love products base on series I like. Plus everything was really cute. Spot-on.

Total Rank: 7 out of 10. This box was really good, but the items themselves  could have been a little better. I really like how some of them weren’t really like... the typical mainstreams like Pokemon, but at the same time, I wish they could have used series I was more into- like Sailor Moon, Pretty Cure, or more video game series. But I wasn’t unhappy with this box at all.

Lip Cream - I love how it feels on my lips, and the packaging is my most favorite. I wish we tasted it a little longer though.

Hand Cream - I love its scent more than the kirby’s peach version. It made my hands feel so soft, and it soaks in quickly.  

Lip & Cheek Lollipop - smells lovely and it’s very cute. I wish it did more for my lips though.

Anime Girl Bath Bomb - very cute and fun, smells great. I’m not 100% sure on the quality of the bomb itself though. 

Koya Point Mask - I loved the design, but the quality could have used some work. I feel like it didn’t really do very much.

Makeup Pouch - I love the quality of it, but I really didn’t need more pouches.  

Message Sheet Mask - it’s pretty silly looking, but I think I got one of the tamer masks. I do like those princely types, and it smells great~

Nail Stamper - it’s a cute and fun little item, but I couldn’t get it to work...
